Intro

'Climate Fieldview' is a digital farming’s leading software platform that turns your field data into insights.
Each farm is different. Every field is unique. 'FieldView' year-round to make data-driven decisions to maximize your return on every acre. The platform is a data partner to seamlessly collect, store, and visualize critical field data, monitor, and measure the impact of your agronomic decisions on crop performance, and manage your field variability by building customized fertility and seeding plans for your fields to optimize yield and maximize profit.

The Client

Initially, I received a not detailed brief from the client to create a 3D virtual tour that will be implemented in their existing platform.

“Above all else, align with customers. Win when they win. Win only when they win.”

Challenges

My main concerns were:

  • Designing an accessible platform for all users and for all devices.

  • Creating this experience without having the main 3D Image background from day 1 which will be the key element on the page.

  • The client was mainly focused on following their old app user interface than their new branding on their website and focused more on the design than the experience itself.

Simplifying Complexity for a Platform Launch

Since Climate FieldView had just launched their new digital farming platform, a leading solution in the industry, they wanted to seize the opportunity to showcase their product effectively to users. I was tasked with creating this project within a tight two-week timeline, which required careful planning, rapid iteration, and close coordination with developers.

To meet these constraints, I approached the project iteratively, focusing on delivering high-impact features while cutting out unnecessary complexity. This process involved prioritizing key user interactions, streamlining workflows, and ensuring that the design communicated the platform’s value clearly and efficiently. Despite the time pressure, the project successfully highlighted the platform’s capabilities, balancing usability, clarity, and visual appeal in a way that resonated with the target audience.

Design System

Despite the tight timeline, we successfully developed a comprehensive design system that fully aligned with Climate FieldView’s updated branding guidelines. The project required balancing speed with precision, ensuring that every component, pattern, and interface element reflected the new brand identity while remaining practical and scalable for future development.

Our approach involved establishing clear visual hierarchies, consistent typography, color schemes, and interactive patterns, all tailored to the platform’s user needs. By creating reusable components and a structured framework, we not only ensured a cohesive look and feel across the platform but also streamlined collaboration with developers, making implementation faster and more efficient.

Ultimately, this design system became a foundation for the platform’s ongoing evolution, allowing Climate FieldView to maintain a unified, modern, and approachable user experience while supporting future features and expansions without compromising on quality or brand integrity.
