The Child Registration Tool (CRT) is part of a broader set of initiatives supporting the Ministry’s new Child Care Accountability Program, alongside the launch of the Family Portal and Funding Statement.
The CRT is delivered through the Child Care Licensing Portal and enables child care providers to register children and manage their program’s enrolment list in one centralized service. Registration data automatically pre-populates providers’ monthly funding claims, reducing manual entry and helping ensure claims are accurate and consistent for each child.
The child registration process is designed to collect only essential information, including basic details about the child, one parent or guardian, and program enrolment. Upon completion, the system generates a Child Care Participant Number (CCPN), which uniquely identifies the child across programs and funding workflows.

Feature walk though
A notification center was reuqired for a long time, another team is supposed to be working on the global component called the 'Platform' team, but the componnent is not going to be available for a while so we need a quick solution easy to developed, I am recommending to utilize the React MUI out-of-the-box widget which can allow us to have something cool working well, proper fonctions and easy to develope as we reutilize existing code just change the CSS so the styling match the governemnt branding.
I am proposing a few solution to the team either a regular notification center, or reutilizing existing component that has initialy other purposes but now reutilize them for this purpose, this can also allow us to minimize development too.
Such as reutilizing the snackbar component, or the banner component, could be solutions.
I am meeting with the design system team to make a final decision.
